What success looks like in this role

  • You’re efficiently managing assigned tasks within designated schedules.

What you can expect as our Jr Finance Administrator at LeadDesk

  • You’ll be handling customer invoicing and ensuring timely communication with customers and sales staff.
  • You’ll be answering questions regarding invoicing and resolving special cases as they arise.
  • You’ll be managing the daily ledger, including payment allocations and collections.
  • You’ll provide occasional reports to customers and authorities as required.
  • You’ll be assisting with various other financial administration tasks.

This is where the match happens

Must-haves

  • Fluency in both Finnish and English (At a minimum, excellent written Finnish is needed for communication with the Finnish customers. English is our internal language).
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, work with deadlines, and be flexible. For the team, it’s not always about 9 to 5 – your workload will be defined by the time of the month.
  • Ambitious team-oriented attitude combined with willingness to take extreme ownership of your tasks.
  • Ethical conduct.

Nice-to-haves

  • Educational background in finance/accounting (e.g., Bachelor of Business Administration). As we need someone full-time, it’d be ideal if you’ve already graduated.
  • Prior work experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial software/tools.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Interest in broader finance topics and SQL/programming.

  • Start date: April 2024 (aka the sooner the better!)
  • Employment type: Full-time and permanent.
  • Working hours: Flexible.
