We’re hiring two Front-End Developers to join our growing team:

  1. Front-End Developer – Data Visualization Focus
    Craft intuitive, elegant visualizations that turn data into insight.
  2. Front-End Developer – Admin UI & Structured Data
    Build seamless, user-friendly admin interfaces for managing structured data with ease.

What you can expect as a Front-end Developer  at LeadDesk  

  • You'll be developing new features smoothly using ReactJS, Redux, and Saga
  • You'll be maintaining and improving our existing product
  • You'll be writing clean, high-quality code
  • You'll be ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience (UX)
  • You'll be contributing to happy, satisfied clients

What Success Looks Like:

First 2-3 months:

  • Gain overview of LeadDesk’s products, users, tech stack, and development workflows.
  • Familiarize yourself with the existing front-end architecture
  • Build strong relationships with your team
  • Contribute to improving the front-end codebase by addressing bugs, refining UI components, and adopting best practices.
  • Begin establishing efficient collaboration workflows between front-end development, design, and product teams.
  • Deliver your first end-to-end front-end feature, improving a critical user workflow or interface.

First 6 months

  • Take ownership of a key area of the UI and drive consistency and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement accessible and responsive UI
  • Actively contribute to sprint planning and code reviews to ensure high-quality and scalable front-end code.

This is where the match happens  

Must-haves  

  •  React.js, Redux, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS - At least 3 years of real-world work experience
  • Node.js, Express.js, SQL Databases - preferably mySQL - At least 3 years of real-world work experience

Required general skills

  • Git version control, Software testing,
  • Atlassian Jira
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Scrum
  • Fluency in English at professional level

Nice-to-haves  

  • PHP experience useful but not mandatory
  • API Development

Practicalities

  • Your location: Helsinki or Lappeenranta
  • Work permit in Finland is required, please mention this in your application!
  • Start date: As soon as possible  
  • Work model: Hybrid  (2 or 3 days per week in office minimum)
  • Working hours: flexible  
  • Employment: Full-time and permanent 
  • Compensation: EUR 3500-4500 per month
